Elena is a fantastic teacher!!! After six month of my training I traveled to Kiev, Ukraine, and had so lot of fun performing at Russian Karaoke Bar. It was just unbelievable! I've got so many friends there! I could not stop saying thank you and thank you, my wonderful teacher. Now we are reading Dead Souls together. The book is hilarious! We are going through two copies English/Russian side by side. She asks me questions in Russian and I try to answer her in Russian. Yes, it is clumsy but I can support serious conversation now! It goes somehow naturally with her. Well, I still do not know how she is doing it. She has a very bright energetic personality and she knows Russian folklore and literature increadibly well. I found out that BABA YAGA is the best deep wood lady ever. If you want to learn Russian fast enough to go and visit Russian speaking country, she is the best teacher!

Elena is a brilliant teacher—learned, patient, and kind. She is able to convey the nuances of Russian with humorous stories that make learning this difficult language really fun. She’s great!
