Spanish with Eirene W.

My name is Eirene and I love learning languages. I grew up in Canada and the U.S. and have traveled to over 20 countries. Whenever I have some free time, I love to listen to podcasts, chat with my native speaker friends and travel at every opportunity I get. This year, I was in Tanzania, where I studied Swahili for 2 months. Other than studying and teaching language, I also love cooking, drawing and taking walks around the city. -- My teaching style is very much student-led, teacher-guided. As a teacher, I mold every class to complement my student's preferences and needs. We work on grammar and vocabulary through book materials and exercises but also engaging activities like movies and music. As a non-native Spanish speaker (Spanish if my 4th language, after French), I hope I can shed light on how Spanish is structured, and how it works--and also help you meet your Spanish goals, whether it be work, travel or personal.
