Microsoft Excel with Derek J.

Hi there! My name is Derek and I have a broad range of interests and experience. That includes teaching. I've played and coached soccer and hockey. I'm often teaching math to one of three kids at home. I've done Ironman and trained others for triathlon. I'm a numbers guy, so that made Excel an interest to me many years ago. The hardest part about being a teacher is remembering how it feels to be the student. It is always a struggle. A great way to remember is to remain a student of other new things. Right now for me that is in learning the guitar the last few months. I'm thoroughly a student of life, and my job is to understand how you learn, then teach to that learning style.
