Dax L. is available for online lessons in the categories of teaching acting to beginners, teaching acting specifically for the camera, teaching actor’s and performers how to stand out on social media as well as organically grow their social media presence. Dax has been acting for over 19 years and teaching since 2019. Dax teaches all experience levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced. Dax has her own technique of teaching to help actor’s learn how to analyze scripts in order to make good choices for conveying lines, to be believable when acting, to be unpredictable when acting, and how to not stereotype roles to the point where performance is negatively impacted. Dax also has helped many actors learn how to memorize scripts and how to do it very quickly for when time is not on their side. In the Fall of 2020, Dax finished filming her first self-produced, self-directed, and self-written movie called Limits of Therapy. During her time picking the best actors for her film, she learned what it was really like to be on the casting director’s side of things. By being in the shoes of a casting director, Dax learned so much in regards of what TO do and what NOT to do when auditioning for roles. Sometimes it was something so easily fixable that completely erased the actor’s chance of getting a callback audition. Dax would love to share her tips, tricks, and techniques with you that she has acquired through her experiences both in front of the camera, and behind the scenes. Dax attended William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey where she got her degree in Marketing because she knew that half of show business is acting and the other half is knowing how to market yourself. Dax is fully equipped with knowledge on how to captivate a desired audience, how to make them stay for the long haul (not unfollow you), and how to increase how big the audience is. Prior and after college, Dax has had 500+ hours of private training in acting from some of the world’s best coaches. She has been trained in group settings as well. She continues coaching weekly because she believes acting is like a muscle, if you don’t lose it, you will lose it.
