David is located in Houston, Texas and specializes in teaching live in-person. He is also currently doing online instruction. "I have succeeded in making all of my students better players. I have a 100% success rate in improving their game and overall knowledge, and I know that I can help you too! Feel free to look at the reviews from some of my students. It takes time to decide on a coach or instructor, so please look over everything carefully. If you decide that I am a good fit for your needs, I will not let you down." Have you tried learning to play by watching videos, only to be more confused and overwhelmed? While videos do impart knowledge and instruction, there is nothing that compares to a live pool lesson! David has been a pool instructor since 1985 and is currently available to teach private lessons at your home, online, or at a nearby location. He has helped numerous students win tournaments, improve their confidence, learn new aspects of the game, and make new friends along the way. He was first introduced to the game at 8 years old at a friend's house, and became very interested in improving 10 years later. Since then, he has gone on to win several tournaments, compete in leagues throughout the years, and help hundreds of individuals improve their game. As an expert in his field, David looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals. His teaching style is fun, hands-on, and enjoyable. He will show you professional techniques that will last you a lifetime, and he is also extremely patient! He is very familiar with other teaching styles, and depending on what your likes are, is very flexible and can tailor lessons to your needs. Others have described his instruction as top-notch, and would highly recommend him to anyone! Pool is also one of the most popular sports that can be played by anyone. If you have never played the game before, it's not too late to learn, and David will certainly help you! He also follows players like Efren Reyes, Earl Strickland, Shane Van Boening, Mike Sigel, Johnny Archer, Jeanette Lee, Loree Jon Jones, and a host of others! You will definitely benefit from his instruction! He usually charges $80/hour and up for his lessons, however by being a student here, you are able to take advantage of major savings. He says, "Pool is so much fun, and I really enjoy teaching! Whether you just want to learn the basics of how to play, or improve what you already know, I can work with you in those areas. If you like the game and want to learn more, I can show you so many new things that will help you get better fast! I truly care about seeing you grow and improve, and I think you will absolutely love what I have to show you! "I look forward to teaching you soon!"

Having played pool off and on for about 20 years, some days I could play great, and other times I looked I just started. I was looking for an instructor that could get me to a different level and more consistent. I'm glad I found David as an instructor as we were able to greatly improve my fundamentals. After only the 1st lesson, my form improved and I was able to really straighten out my stroke. He is very detailed with plenty of helpful advice and tips on getting you to the next level. Even though he is a great instructor, you have take the time to put what he says into action to really get the value out of it. Practice makes perfect!!

THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE REVIEW I DIDN'T GET TO FINISH ON AUGUST 12th David is a professional and thorough instructor. He has been teaching pool for over 20 years and has a proven track record of helping people improve their game. His lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate players. He covers the basics of pool, including stance, stroke, aiming, and break. He also teaches more advanced techniques, such as draw, follow, and spin (which I will be working on next). The lessons I've had with David have been at a local pool hall. The pool hall is well-maintained and has a variety of tables to choose from. The lesson is one-on-one, so you will get personalized attention from David. He is a patient and knowledgeable instructor who is committed to helping you improve your game. Overall, David's billiard lesson is a great option for beginners and intermediate players who want to improve their game. David is a experienced and knowledgeable instructor who is committed to helping you succeed. Here are some pros and cons of the lesson: Pros: Experienced and knowledgeable instructor Personalized attention Focus on basics and advanced techniques Cons: None Personally I have been playing pool for over 40 years. Recently I noticed my game was lacking and I couldn't quite put my finger on what was wrong. David quickly identified issues with my stance and stroke and my game has already improved. The time and money spent with David has been well worth it. I will continue to see David on a regular basis to improve my game. If you are interested in taking David's billiard lesson, I would recommend reading some reviews from previous students. This will give you a better idea of what to expect from the lesson.
