Spanish with Darya L.

Darya guided me through my high school essays and college and scholarship applications in my senior year of high school. She helped me extract my thoughts and turn them into words in clear and concise writings. I always remember her tips and advice when I write even as a junior in college. With the help of her essay writing guidance and editing, I was awarded 4 scholarships; one being from South San Francisco's Genentech for $200,000. Darya reminded me constantly that it was my background, personality, and goals that won over these companies and organizations. She is humble, encouraging, inspiring, and extremely patient. To this day, I am thankful to Darya for mentoring me; without her, I don't think I would have been able to accurately represent myself and my goals on paper in high school or college.

Darya was originally my English tutor for my AP Literature class in high school but she offered to help prepare me for the SAT, specifically the math portion. I was able to get 100 more points on my test with just one 1 hour lesson with Darya! I was really struggling with geometry since freshman year until she made it so much more clear! Thank you Darya!

Darya is very engaging with my 11 year old son and makes the Spanish lessons fun and interesting. She is teaching him Spanish step by step. My son enjoys his Spanish lessons.
