English (ESL) with Dara F.

I've been a professional ESL teacher for 15 years. I worked with many students from around the world and learned a lot from them. I love meeting people from different countries and cultures. Besides teaching, I'm an author of two books, I love to craft and make things out of recycled items! I have a Bachelor's degree in English, two Associates degrees and three TESOL certifications. I love school :) Most of all, I love helping people. I love to motivate and encourage my students in learning English. From my experience, when students feel comfortable to learn, they learn better. It is important for me to make students feel comfortable in the learning process. I do this by showing interest, using different methods to teach (I love being creative), and allowing my students to be themselves. It is my pleasure to see my students progress in their English, and feel confident in what they learned. Then I know I did my job effectively. Teaching ESL is a selfless act something I'm very passionate about every day.
