English (ESL) with Collin F.

I was an English major before having to drop out of school for personal reasons, but I've always loved teaching and the idea of becoming a teacher as a career. I have a wide variety of interests and consider myself a jack-of-all-trades. I'd love to get my PhD and teach multiple subjects like English, Psychology, Biology, Sociology, and more. One of my biggest strengths is my charisma! I'm great at communicating and helping people understand things. I may not yet be a professional teacher, but I teach my friends, my sisters, and even my parents on many different topics. Educating people is a great passion of mine; I have a lot of knowledge and love to share that knowledge with the world! As your teacher, my number one job isn't just getting you to memorize words and vocabulary, but to help you truly understand the language and immerse yourself in the fluency. I believe the best method of teaching is focusing on fluency first, grammar second. The grammar and syntax can be easier to understand once you understand the sentence structure and flow of the words themselves, in my opinion. I'm really excited to start this journey as a teacher and hopefully soon go back to school to finish getting my degree!
