Spanish with Claudia O.

My name is Claudia Ortiz. I am original from Colombia. In 2012 I got my B.A in Spanish and a Mathematics minor. Later in 2014 I got my M. A. in Spanish language and literature. In my view, language is a discipline that actively involves the speaker and must be taught in the context of culture. Therefore, my main goal as a Spanish native teacher is to lead and to integrate students in the Hispanic world to enable them to use language in a variety of culturally appropriate communicative activities. Doing so, the students have the opportunity to build upon and expand their communication skills, to learn and to function appropriately in Hispanic communities at home and throughout the world in an increasingly proficient manner.
