My name is Claire, and I am a hardworking, passionate, and driven individual who strives to reach her goals in life, helps others reach theirs, and makes a difference in the world. I am a rising junior at the University of Alabama, where I am triple majoring in Finance, Economics, and Spanish. I have been speaking Spanish since I was 5 years old, and my fluency in the language has given me countless opportunities to live, volunteer, and travel abroad. Some of these opportunities include volunteering for a month in Puerto Rico after Hurricane María, participating in an language exchange program in Barcelona in high school, and traveling to countries like Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and more. This upcoming academic year, I will be spending a year abroad, starting with the fall semester in Madrid, Spain. I am also currently learning Portuguese, so I understand what it is like to learn a second, or even third language. In my free time, I love to travel, volunteer, spend time with friends and family, and listen to music. Music was one of the most integral parts of my Spanish language learning journey, and if music interests you as well, I would love to share my passion and love of the language with you!
