I'm multi-media artist who offers various pottery, painting, fiber art (fiber processing, various types of felting, natural dyeing, yarn making, rug making, sewing, crocheting, knitting) jewelry, candles, and soap making and canning workshops in my art studio. We also have an onsite mini farm with llamas, alpacas, sheep and peacocks. We shear our animals annually and use our processed fiber in our workshops. Students learn the ancient traditions of naturally dyeing fiber with local plants and how to spin into art yarn with spindles.
Currently instruct classes in various art mediums to the local communities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
I retired in 2013 and opened my own art studio after 25 yrs. with one of our local school districts in the Child Nutrition field where I was a Fiscal Operations Coordinator and District Trainer.
