Thank you for your interest in learning how to sketch using watercolors. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you. My two passions are nature and art. Ever since I can remember I have been drawing and painting at an early age. I later earned a degree in Graphic Design but my heart is in fine art. I spent my weekends in the woods studying, exploring, sketching until in 2008 I started the site: Let's Paint Nature where I give many step-by-step demonstrations on how to paint nature using watercolors and pastels. In 2010 I started teaching in a group setting, en plein air (see video). A group setting is very different than one on one. With individual lessons we go on your pace, not the groups pace, so that you can ask as many questions as you like. The benefit of learning with me is that I can take complicated subjects and simplify them so that you can sketch relatively quickly. Let me show you how in a relaxed, casual setting.
