I am a natural teacher that loves to teach! I am a writer and have written in college and university newspapers. My writings have also been featured in a university publication and have also been included in awards too. I also have my TEFL certificate, Associates in Arts degree, and Bachelors degree in Science and Law too. Although I have a TEFL certificate, I learned American English first. My accent sounds more like I am from California. I have also been complimented on it by other students that want to speak similar. I have good mannerisms that I can teach too. I have also been a radio DJ and have done many presentations in person and on air. As for my background, I am Eurasian mixed and I was raised multilingual. I understand how languages can be sometimes challenging, but with the right effort it becomes easier! As for teaching the English language, I have taught children as young as 4 yrs. old to adults, in person. I taught online internationally in 2013 and decided to go back to the university to gain my degrees. I then started to teach international students at a university on how to pronounce words, write words, and converse in English over the summer. The international students (beginning English, intermediate English, and advanced English) loved it and also shared with me (from practicing) on what I had taught them previously before! I enjoy making students laugh and make learning fun too! To see students become more advanced in learning new words and in speaking, makes me feel good to see that they are progressing! I look forward to teaching you US English and to help you to move forward in your passions for learning a new language!
