I can help you prepare for the IELTS or TOEFL, and also help you learn the English needed to get that job or promotion. For beginners, I will not only help you learn the basics of English, but also give you tips and tricks to help you navigate the English speaking area you live in. You'll learn English speaking culture as well so that you can not only express yourself fluently, but thrive. For advanced learners, I can help you perfect your grammar, vocabulary, etc to help you become completely fluent in English. This can not only open up new opportunities in life to you, but help you enjoy the English-speaking world around you. For those between beginner and advanced, I can help you find what level you are, where you can improve, and help you get over any obstacles to your English speaking.     Hi, my name is Chartisia! (Pronounced like "shar-tee-see-uh") I really love to help people, which is why I am here on TakeLessons. I love seeing people learn new things that help them improve their lives. I teach English beginner through advanced classes and ASL beginner classes. I believe that being able to express ourselves is one of the best gifts we humans have, and language barriers shouldn't get in the way. With my help, you will be able to navigate our multi-lingual world with confidence. A little bit about me...I am 31 years old and have lived in sunny Southern California all my life. My hobbies include going to the beach, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and being a full-time volunteer Bible teacher. I also love nature and exploring it: by hiking, walking, or bird watching. I enjoy seeing other people happy, enjoying life and this wonderful Earth we call home. I look forward to helping you overcome any language barriers and master another language so you can live your best life! Hope to see you in class 😄

    This is my very first class and she was so patient and so engaging! I felt like I learned so much from the resources she suggested beforehand and she reinforced it all. I cannot wait to take more classes!
