I am a pianist with over 13 years experience. I also play the organ, clarinet and have some experience with voice. I enjoy teaching keyboard instruments, playing and composing for the piano and organ. I believe that a fun, no pressure approach to playing helps students develop a love for the instrument and increases their skill level. I currently play the organ for a church congregation, but love to add pieces from musical theater and classics into my playing and practice sessions. I may or may not crank out all the stops and belt Phantom of the Opera when I'm alone practicing :) My favorite thing about learning music is the ability you gain to make the world a happier place by adding your music to it. I believe in working in fun pieces, such as a favorite song, into my students piano repertoire to keep the joy of learning an instrument alive.
