English (ESL) with Cameron B.

Hi! I began teaching English as a second language in 2015. I have extensive experience working with all ages and skill levels. In my lessons, I try to provide a focus on communication and usage of grammar and vocabulary. For my students, being able to get over the inhibitions of speaking a foreign language is the first step. I remember when I was learning Italian the most difficult hurdle for me to surpass was being confident in my own abilities to speak with people. Because of the fear of making glaringly obvious mistakes, I seldom spoke the language while living in Italy. It wasn't until my wife and I were on either side of the ocean, and I was able to speak in Italian without fear of embarrassment, that I was able to learn. Once I moved back to Italy, I began teaching English with Inlingua, alongside with a cultural cooperative, creating curriculum and study plans for prospective students. In that time I learned that a one-size-fits-all approach to ESL is absolutely useless. What works for one student may not work for another. I hope I can help anybody, regardless of skill level, age, or background, actualize their goals of fluency and mastery!
