English (ESL) with Bethany C.

Hello! My name is Bethany and I am an English teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and have taken Master's level classes in general teaching, teaching reading, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I am an intermediate Spanish speaker. I enjoy learning languages and I enjoy learning about how people learn languages. I know the importance of learning a language when travelling or moving to a different country. I have experienced the difficulty of not being able to communicate well in my daily life, and for that reason, I like to help others who have the same need. I have experience in teaching English to both adults and children and have done so both in person and online. My first teaching English as a Second Language experience was in 2010 when I student taught at an international school in Costa Rica. Almost all of my students spoke Spanish at home, but were required to speak English at school. Since then, I have had many experiences in teaching English. I hope to see you in a lesson soon!
