American Sign Language with Ashley W.

Hello! Thank you so much for clicking on my profile. My name is Ashley W. and I am a certified American Sign Language teacher as well as an Interpreter. My Master's is in Educational Leadership with my undergrad in Interpreting and Deaf Studies. I started singing when I was very young since I had Deaf friends growing up in school. Now I can say I have been singing for over 22 years! After graduating college I started out as an ASL interpreter in the educational system. I primarily focused on educational interpreting throughout my interpreting career however I have done various freelancing jobs working with ages ranging from birth to 88 years old! After years of interpreting, I decided to become an American Sign Language teacher. I love working with students and watching ASL skills develop! Whether it be teaching foundational ASL or advanced signing it brings me great joy to see you learn and sharpen your skills. I have also worked with all ages in teaching ASL. Currently, my youngest students are my daughter ages 2 and 9 months. I look forward to meeting and working with you on your signing!
