Sewing with Ariann L.

Hello! My name is Ariann and I have 14 years of sewing experience. I began taking sewing lessons at 10 years old, which is what inspired me to teach others. I've made almost every type of garment you can imagine over the years and I went on to receive a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. During my time in the program, I learned how to sketch, flat pattern and drape, and sew many different types of garment. I really enjoy constructing a garment from start to finish and like to make my own patterns or customize store bought patterns. I would like to be able to teach this to my students and help them express their own style in clothes that they can wear proudly. I am comfortable teaching all levels, so even if you've never touched a sewing machine before, please feel free to reach out!
