French as a Second Language “Tutor”

As a Fulbright scholar, I collaborated with and assisted the French Department at Simpson College. I was involved with 101, 102 and 201 level classes. I was also solely responsible for teaching an upper-level French oral comprehension class for which I developed lesson plans tailored to meet curriculum requirements.

My name is Anaïs, and I now live in the U.S after living in France my whole life! I started teaching French six years ago when I came to the United States as a Fulbright scholar to be a Teaching Assistant in a small college in Iowa. Since then, I have strengthened my techniques and my background knowledge of French to become a dedicated, motivated and rigorous teacher! Anais is a stellar teacher! Never before has French (especially French grammar) been so clear. Her methods are well defined and make the material extremely approachable. Anais is extremely patient and knowledgeable and makes learning French more accessible. I highly recommend Anais.

I have had the opportunity to have her as my instructor for several lessons, and she is really amazing. I have improved my French so much and I feel more confident when I speak it.
