    About Amy S.

I am in the American Time Zone for Houston, Texas. I have been a Texas public school Teacher for thirty years. I taught PreK for seven years. I taught Bilingual PreK, Kindergarten, First and Second Grade (Bilingual). I am a certified Bilingual, ESL, and Elementary school Teacher for life. I speak Spanish. I am currently teaching my Primary (PreK) class at a Montessori school weekdays. I know best practices to teach English language learners, and look forward to teaching them. I was a tutor in the Sam Houston State University library in 1993, while I was taking ESL classes there. I successfully tutored a young Korean lady for her TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test. She passed it with my help on her second try. I successfully tutored a young man for his Spanish 1 class at SHSU. His grades in his Spanish 1 class went from Fs to Bs when I was tutoring him.
