Hello! I am excited for the opportunity to get to know you! I have experience teaching many subjects and can't wait to learn together with you! Here are some subjects I love teaching: Chinese- I not only studied Mandarin Chinese in college, but I lived in China for 6 years! Two of those years I lived with a host family and studied the language. After living in China I worked at a Chinese church in the U.S. In my class you can expect to learn reading and writing, but our focus will be on speaking and listening. Students will also learn about Chinese culture. ESL- I love teaching English to non-native speakers! I taught English at universities in China for 4 years. I also taught English online for a Chinese company for 5 years. If English is not your native language, let me help you! I love teaching phonics and beginning grammar lessons. Even if English is your native language, maybe you have an early elementary student who needs help with reading. Music- I have successfully taught beginning guitar skills for a number of years. I led the music at church for over 7 years playing guitar and singing. During that time I trained many students in our youth program. I would be very happy to teach you your favorite contemporary Christian songs.
