Hey Everyone! I'm Allison. I'm a word-loving, fun-loving writer, screenwriter, poet & playwright, with an MFA in Screenwriting from the New York Film Academy. My articles, short stories & poems have been published in Elephant Journal many times. I've also won 6 screenwriting awards to date, as well as made finalist or quarter finalist in multiple film festivals. I love teaching all levels about the crafts of writing & screenwriting, from beginner to pro. I also love workshopping, giving feedback & helping others develop their budding projects. If you're just beginning, I can help you get started & teach you all the basics! If you're a seasoned writer who is just looking for notes, I can you help you bring your project to the next level where it's ready to submit to festivals, contests & industry players. I look forward to working with you!

Allison and I worked on a screenplay together which won an award. The process by which that screenplay was written, is the interesting part. Allison shared many different ways that she uses to create the world of the story and then fill it with characters. She easily explains how interactions and dialogue can be elevated, in order to pull an audience member into the story. I have never seen such a unique and easy to follow writing style as Allison shared with me.
Enjoy creating with a true creator.

Allison sees things, creates scenes, personifies purity in her writing that can only be described as singularly unique! Personally, she helped me to expand my vision, redirect ANYTHING from my past or present toward creative expression and ultimately made me a better poet, script writer and professional entertainer. You could not find a more caring, enthusiastic and easy-going teacher!
