Building a relationship with the student is SUPER important. I try my best to get to know the student as quickly as I can. I want the student to be excited about their time with me. Learning can be fun. My goal is to help the students help themselves. I believe this can be done by building confidence and equipping them with the proper tools to succeed. I have been teaching for 17 years. (12 years in America and 5 years in the UAE.) I am certified to teach K~6th grade elementary subjects. I also have obtained my Tesol Certification.

About Alicia W.
Hello! My name is Alicia Williams. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Florida A&M University. I’ve also earned a 120 hour TESOL/TEFL certificate online. I’ve been teaching English, reading, science and mathematics for over 17 years. For the past 5 years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching English abroad in the United Arab of Emirates.
I love teaching children and meeting new people around the globe. I’ve traveled to over 18 countries and plan to go more places soon. I love learning about new places and their culture. I am excited to meet you all soon.
