My name is Alexandra and I have been studying American Sign Language for five years and I am very passionate about signing! I have spent a decent amount of time with Deaf families and students and I have absolutely fallen in love with the Deaf community. In my lessons, I will not only cover vocabulary, but we will learn about the specifics when it comes to sentence structure and the importance of your facial expressions. Lessons will be fun yet, very effective! I hope to eventually make my students comfortable enough to carry on entire conversations in American Sign Language!

My name is Alexandra, I am 22 years old and I am currently studying to hopefully become a full time interpreter for American Sign Language or Brazilian Portuguese.  I, as most young people, dream of traveling the world some day. I have taught a number of people sign language and it has been very rewarding to see how one can start from learning the alphabet to being able to confidently carry on a full conversation entirely in sign language. I love being able to pass on such a beautiful language to people who truly want to practice and reach out to the Deaf Community.
