My forte' are Drawings, Acrylic Paintings, Charcoal Drawings, Photography and Digital image manipulation. I have been published in Art and Fashion magazines for my art. My goal is to teach you how to see the world around us as a canvas and cull your visions from it and recreate it to your desires. My goal is to have you gain a deep understanding of yourself as an artist and how to translate that onto/into your media of choice.
Explained what I needed to know very nicely and kept his teaching at a level very suitable for my current skill level. Will work a bit on the stuff we went through and do another follow-up lesson. Thanks

Guiseppe is great! He explained basic techniques very well and make sure I understand all before we move on the next.
I have been painting professionally for 13 years and I teached middle and high students for 2 years. Also I teached adults about comic book style drawing and oil painting. All ages welcome. Lessons are customized to fulfill the goals of each student. I teach basic drawing to advanced oil painting. I encourage all students to build their painting and drawing skills and offer advice and guidance regarding current shows being exhibit in NYC.
I have been painting professionally for 15 years. I graduated form art high school and university in Korea. I recently graduated from Pratt. I have experiences teaching art to kids, teens and adults. I can speak English and Korean. I am very open, friendly, social person and responsible.
Whether you are wanting to learn how to paint using acrylic paints because it is something you have always wanted to learn or you are looking to learn new techniques, I am here to guide you! Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be painting in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of color theory, drawing techniques, hand sight coordination techniques, and more. I have been painting for over fifthteen years in a variety of scales including large murals to small canvases. I am as eager to share basic to advance techniques as you are to learn. Self expression and painting techniques are a tool nobody can take from you once you have learned and embraced the art of painting. I have a degree in Art Practice from UC Berkeley and have taught 2nd grade students and adults as well. Let's get painting!
I am a professional working artist and I am also a site coordinator for an Expanded Learning program here in Riverside. I obtained a degree in Art Practice from UC Berkeley where I specialized in multimedia installations that included large scale paintings, sculptures, and original music/audio. Due to the versatility in my own work from large to very small scale paintings I have acquired techniques and skills for every scale in between. I am a strong believer in self expression and visual literacy which gets stronger with the formulation of concepts one builds through inspiration for each painting. I enjoy teaching and learning what my students' interests are and what motivates them. I can help you learn specific skills for abstract paintings to detailed portraits. Through research I have also learned that individua
ls benefit greatly from creative freedom thus performing better in other academic subjects, learning healthy ways of expression, and mentally feel fulfilled through the therapeutic effects of painting. If you are looking to work with someone who loves what they do, who is patient, motivational, and can teach you basic to advanced skills in painting, drawing, music, and Spanish send me a message and we can begin your learning journey!
The first lesson went very well with my daughter. Belinda was methodical in her teaching and approached the lesson with my daughter’s interest in mind. During the lesson, Belinda was able to actively engage my daughter the whole time, and more importantly, her teaching revived my daughter’s interest in drawing. She has already devised future plans to have my daughter practice sketching noses, eyes, and ears so that my daughter may draw the human face later with more realistic details.
Each lesson is catered to the students growth from previous lessons. I start off with showing students personal work and showing them the methods I used and the techniques used with those methods. I believe in painting right alongside my students, so be prepared to get dirty!
I am a professor with seventeen years worth of experience in teaching various subjects for a multitude of students. I've taught subjects such as creative writing, commercial law, ancient civilization, ancient and transitional Latin and Greek, as well as Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Federal and Commercial Building Compliance and Law, et cetera. To put it bluntly, there's very little I cannot teach.
I've taught GED classes and courses for the State of Michigan and the Northeast Penitentiary system for seven years as well, which has been some of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had.
I believe that everyone can learn. All it takes is that student to professor connection and knowing what type of learner the student is. I don't believe in a "one shoe fits all" type of teaching style.
My students are unique, with different ways of looking at problems and different ways of coming to their own conclusions and solutions.
Good teaching is a mixture of art and science—the ability to grab and keep students' attention and convey complex information, Mr. K does just that!! I have taken about 4 or 5 classes with him and I must say he has taught me everything I need now in my career. Patient and vastly knowledge. Definitely would take another class with him!

Mr. K taught was amazing. He taught the GED in Michigan a few years ago. The moment I walked into his classroom, it was just one and one. He didn't treat me like all the other teachers. He actually cared and it showed. But man, is he hard! I didn't think I would get homework after the first class, but I was seriously wrong. But over the next two months, he grilled me and grilled me until I wanted to scream. But when I took the GED and was scored, I aced it! Just to warn yall though, he's not an easy teacher. And he doesn't put up with excuses. But when he gives you his attention, its all of it.
He even went waaaay beyond the call of duty and helped me get into college at Lansing Community College. He walked me through the application, even drove and met me at LCC, and sat with me when we talked to the reps. He even helped me look for scholarships and gave me advise on financial aid! This guy is a saint!
I have been teaching professionally for more than 10 years. I can teach a total beginner and I can guarantee the profound change in his skill level (regardless of his age), after 2 months of the attentive following of my instructions. I like to watch the progress of my student and this is what brings me the best satisfaction in my occupation. I think that every human being is unique with his own unique way of thinking and perception of the common things. When teaching, I believe in dialogue, for this reason, I never record my lessons on video, except for the promotional needs. I like to meet new students, to understand their way of thinking and to invent the individual teaching approach or methodology for each one of them.
I am an academically trained professional artist with the overall working experience of about 20 years and an impressive record of exhibitions (two of them are museum one-man shows) in the USA and abroad. I am teaching in three languages: ENGLISH, HEBREW and RUSSIAN, representational, realist, impressionist/post-impressionist, expressionist (Fauvism and Expressionism) and abstract painting and drawing with the emphasis on European tradition. I am working and teaching in different mediums, like charcoal, graphite, acrylic, oil, watercolour and soft/oil pastels. I have a Russian classic art education, MFA from Pratt Institute (Painting /Drawing) and about 15 years of teaching experience. Currently, I am working as a commissioned portrait artist and also performing on stage with some well-known musicians as a multimedia artist and re
al-time digital painter. As an art educator, I specialize in students of different ages and skill levels. I have developed a methodology for teaching the beginners of pre-pension or relatively late age. I believe in dialogue in education and for this reason, I never record my lessons, except for the promotional purposes. I teach online, in my studio or at a student’s home.
I was very lucky to take private lessons with Danil - after only a few of them I had a clear systematic approach to my drawing process. I very much appreciate analytical way of work in art, and that’s what Danil was doing greatly : he sharpens the tools while keeping your individuality. Highly recommended!

Danil is an exceptional teacher. He starts by laying the foundation. He's eloquent and inspiring.
I feel that my combined artistic skills and ability to have fun will make for a unique learning experience, with solid results as a goal.
I am an accomplished painter, illustrator, and graphic designer, specializing in figurative art. As an illustrator, some of my clients have been Perrier, Prentice-Hall publishing, United Airlines, Marlboro and Target.

I have been privileged to have been the art instructor for the Hoboken Homeless Shelter, and the Saturday U enrichment program for public school children at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. My Hoboken Children's Memorial Flag can be seen on permanent display at Hoboken City Hall. It was the first public 9/11 memorial in Hoboken.
My Greetings from Hoboken New Jersey merchandise is available online and at the Hoboken Historical Museum and other retail outlets in Hoboken.
I keep my skills sharp by working
indoors from life, outdoors from nature, copying old master and Impressionist paintings at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I am featured in a recent book, Museum: Behind the Scenes at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, by Danny Danziger.
I am an oil painter working towards my MFA and years of experience. I have taught at ateliers in NYC and around the country. I break down the approach of painting and break down idea development into easy to follow methods and cater the lessons to what the individual student is interested in pursuing. Come paint with me! It will be fun!

Did you ever want to learn art from a professional? what about someone who's worked at pixar? an animation studio? freelanced? i did it all.
As an illustrator it's my job to figure out multiple concepts for one idea. As a teacher, i like to believe that there's more than one day of doing something. With my one on one lesson plan and schedule, i cater everything to my student's specific needs. Most teachers do things strictly out of the book but then you don't share your wisdom, personal experience or technique that's involved. i stepped out of the illustration industry to continue a life of teaching. i want share my knowledge with the future generation of artists and help them grow to understand why they love to do art.
Would you want to learn art by the book or, would you want to learn from someone who has experience being where you are to being a professional making it his life goal?
I'm here to share my personal experience and knowledge with you as an artist. i started going to art high school, college and then working in art part time professional until i realized my real passion is teaching.
