I have been painting for 20 years and have focused on Abstract expressionism, figuritve abstraction and landscape painting. I use oil, acrylic, encaustic and digital mediums.
Painting, is a joy of expression that I would love to help you explore and expand on.
I can teach you how to mix colors, learn about composition, discover tools and techniques that you may not have considered.
Let me help you unlock your innate abilities and expand on your understanding of color, form, perspective, composition and technique.
Painting and drawing have their own visual language and this language must be nurtured, practiced and repeated for it to become your very own. Plus it is very fun and a true joy for those that pursue it with vigor.
Let’s paint, draw and use our eye and imagination to create something beautiful.
During this time, I focused mainly electric bass and the Acoustic Guitar. I play rhythm guitar in a very busy World Fusion Flamenco Gypsy Jazz band, based in the SF Bay Area. I have learned a sure way to develop the building blocks for playing music. A way to practice and retain the information that you want to learn and quickly advance in your musical passion. I personally use these techniques and want to share them with you. Through patience and determination I will help you discover how to practice, develop technique and then enjoy and play music. I will answer your questions about your guitar from the simple to complex.
If you want to learn Gypsy Jazz, chords, rhythm and technique, how to play Blues, Rock, Funk or Reggae, or how to read chord charts and tablature, I want to help.

"Practice makes perfect" but you need to know "what" and "how" to practice, too make the most of your time.
I would not say that it is easy to learn how to play music or play guitar but that it is completely worth the time that you devote to it.
Music, is a gift that will always give back, you give it to yourself and then share it with your friends and loved ones.
Music, you will have it for life.
Check out the music that I play.
Lets play some music.

I start with very basic shapes. a straight line, circle, square & triangle. By using these basic shapes I make drawing and painting simple.
I can teach students to be free and let the pen, pencil or paint brush flow or I can teach students how to be very precise and detailed. I'm able to teach students both basic and advanced techniques based of their experience and understanding of art.
I have a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design and Interior Design so I'm very familiar with the aspects design and creativity.
I use various techniques that produce results in a simple, fun and stress free way. It seems as if my students improve each and every time they pick up their pencil or brush. I look forward to meeting my next student and making them a better artist.

“Nature always wears the colors of the spirit”. Ralph Emerson once said.
It is true, indeed!
It is actually impossible to portray the actual beauty of the nature in a mere canvas with a few colors and brushes in hand. The vastness is more than that. This is therefore a very miniscule effort to depict the beauty of the nature.
“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness...” and Wilderness Chapter I and Wilderness Chapter II try to tell the same thing.
“Green is the prime color of the world, and that from its loveliness arises”- Fifty Shades of Green exactly speaks about the same thing. Even everything is green, still there is no monotony and each and every hue is visible.
“Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature” and rose is the queen among them. It is more beautiful while its scent is mixed with nocturnal enigma and Night Rose tries to portray the same.
“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all”. The peace lies in Autumn and Serenity Chapter I canvas over the same thought.

Students can expect to focus on learning a good foundation. I am familiar with several different approaches when working with acrylic paints. They include but are not limited to; direct painting, graphic approach, building up of layers using glazes and dry brushing. I also sensitive to the surfaces acrylic is used on; paper, canvas, fabric, metal and wood are just a few.

There are so many possibilities with Acrylic Painting! It is one of my favorite mediums and I am always eager to share my knowledge with others. I tailor all my lessons to the individual student, based on their previous experience, goals, interests, learning style, and feedback.
A few years ago, I quit my job as a library clerk to pursue my dream of mak

The handcrafted image has become uniquely important in an age where visuality is date driven. Painting is concentration, observance, and a psychological process all in one process. It captures the wholistic and undefinable aspects of human thought. Who can doubt the hand made and beautiful?
