First time playing piano? Resuming after years (decades?) of not playing the piano? No matter your age or experience, you can always learn and improve!

Pop songs, jazz ballads, classical pieces, or movie/game themes, there must be something you are interested in playing and get better!

About Bill

I have always been a self-studier in my entire life. Being able to learn with just books and your brain is a crucial skill to have! However, I know not everyone (and sometimes even myself) have the discipline and motivation to keep going during hard times. This is where a tutor would come in handy.

Music is an essential element of a child's education, whether your training to perform at a campfire or Carnegie Hall. My approach is student-driven and collaborative. I help guide my students through songs of their choice, incorporating skill-level appropriate theory and ear training techniques. This allows kids to develop an understanding of the music they're most passionate for, helping their interest and enthusiasm to grow.

About Claire

My name is Claire and I have been making a living as a touring/gigging musician for the last eight years. I studied music performance and production at Columbia College Chicago. I have played in a variety of styles, both solo and as part of a band. I currently tour with my band, The Lucky Dutch on

Claire is extremely patient, positive, and most importantly knowledgeable. After only five lessons, she's given me a lot to work with and I can without a doubt say my singing has improved.

I recommend Claire to anyone interested in improving their singing, regardless of skill level, age, style, etc. She's fantastic!

Singing is so fun and students love it especially when they see how much they improve with their voice after just having a few lessons. I have been teaching voice for over 10 years and will work with the student to build them a strong, healthy voice technique!

During singing lessons we usually have 5-10 minutes of warming up and singing vocal exercises. We will then work on the student's song choices and cover in depth with training in breathing, range, pitch, stylistic techniques, and presentation.

About Christina

Christina is a multi-talented musician, producer, singer-songwriter and has been actively involved with music throughout her life. She began learning classical piano at the age of three and naturally fell in love with singing at a young age. Gifted with perfect pitch, she has excellent ability to p

I am a passionate, energetic, humorous, patient cello/piano/singing instructor. I have been teaching since 2008. Within these years, I taught the private lesson, group lesson, music theory and studio class of all ages and all levels. One of my ten years old student got the highest score of the Asian-Pacific Region in Grade two cello exam of The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music only after one year learning from me. I have abundant experiences for helping students not only learning music but also enjoying lots of fun from it. I also helped my students for preparing their solo recitals, summer festival auditions, competitions, and performing arts high school auditions. I am sure you will full in love with the voice you sing after learning from me. Let me help you to accomplish your aspirations.

About Meixu

"As an adult beginner, I found Don's approach of focusing on the fundamentals key to producing a strong sound and forming good habits when practicing cello. I played violin for six years growing up but in that time never received such great instruction on technique of playing a stringed instrument as I did in a few months of cello lessons with Don. He is a very knowledgeable cellist and quickly recognizes adjustments in technique required for improvement. Additionally, he organizes recitals for his students, giving us a nice opportunity to perform. His knowledge, patience, and gentle manner make him a great instructor."

"Love of Music

Had my first lesson with Alex and it was great. He started out showing me what the different symbols mean and the notes. I am so glad he is teaching me how to read music, its very important. Its all very basic now but feel with knowledge of the basics it will help me understand future lessons easily…..looking forward to my next lesson…..in the meantime, drawing the Cleff, Notes and Staffs to be sure I understand, per his instructions…Love it!"

"I started with Nils after self teaching through YouTube, and would consider myself about an intermediate. I hit a point in my playing where I no longer had a good idea of how to get where I wanted to go. Nils has been really helpful in giving me direction towards my goals and exploring new guitar concepts through songs. He has a wide knowledge and has encouraged me to learn multiple styles, as well as improvisation which I used to shy away from. It’s really been invaluable to have someone like Nils as a guide in your guitar journey"

"Dan has been a wonderful teacher for my three young children (age 8,5 year-old twins) who are just beginning to explore piano. He has the patience of a saint and a great sense of humor, which makes him so approachable. My kids look forward to him coming every week, and they are genuinely interested in learning with him. I'm so pleased with the progress they are making, and most importantly, that Dan is inspiring them to learn and have fun. We're even tacking on a group guitar lesson, which includes mom, to the end of our piano lessons! Should be lots of fun- as long as we have Dan!"

"I would recommend Jimmy to anyone that is serious about learning guitar or music theory. With his strategic approach to teaching the material, you will not only understand music, but you will know how to create your own right on the spot. His lessons are very knowledgeable and most of all fun. He is a patient teacher and will guide you on the correct path you so can become the greatest musician in a very short time. I have been training with him for little over a year and my skills already surpassed others that have been for multiple years. Teachers like Jimmy are rare and very hard to find. If you are serious about music then you should train with Jimmy. See the results faster than you ever thought were possible."
