I like making music fun. With the knowledge that playing an instrument is very difficult, my approach to teaching is to make each task seem as easy as possible. I promote the art of listening to music just as much as playing the notes on the page. I incorporate all the important aspects of violin playing: posture, sight-reading, technique, scales, and musicality to turn all my students into the best musicians they can be!
My name is Annarita and I am a violinist from Des Plaines, Illinois. I began playing at the age of seven, and by the time I was in high school I realized I wanted to make playing and teaching violin my career. In 2013, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in music from Loyola University Chicag

I teach music theory every chance I have to unlock new areas of understanding for my students. When we understand the WHY and HOW, our foundation becomes solid, allowing the music making to grow more connected, more free, and more deep.
I teach students of all ages and stages. Having studied piano for 16 years and voice for 4 years, my students can expect to learn theory and technique along with repertoire. I encourage my students to practice for at least ten minutes every day! All members of my studio have the opportunity to perf
I began playing at 13 years old, and have taken lessons from many other teachers and now I'm 69 and have MS, she does a great job with me!

She is a great teacher. Relaxing environment and pushes me to be the best I can for my level. I love that she is flexible. I do equestrian show jumping and ride 5 days a week and teach 3 days a week and work full time and sometimes the shows may not work for my lesson schedule but she always works with me. holds annual recitals for studio and Christmas. I think anyone any age who wants to learn and can make it to her will love her and enjoy her....She also lets me play with my Black Cello =)"
Thank you Jillian❤️👍"
Marty is a fantastic teacher. Heâs been great teaching my 14 year old daughter. Heâs very patient and makes playing the guitar so simple for her. The first lesson he really was interested in what SHE wanted to eventually be able to play, then taught her some basics and a few simple cords. By the end of the lesson, she was playing a simple song and was so excited. Also very respectful to me as her parent and has a gentle, non-aggressive personality making us both very comfortable. My daughter now even is writing her own songs and playing guitar to them. I would highly recommend Marty as a guitar teacher, he really knows what heâs doing."
We've all had one at some point or another - a bad audition. You prepare like crazy for that singing competition that you swear up and down you're going to nail. However, despite 30 minutes of scales first thing in the morning and an entire day in line spent practicing, you walk into the audition with your head held oh-so-high only to walk out feeling like your head was handed back to you on a lovely silver platter. Below are a few singers who didn't quite measure up to the singing competitio …
