I started viola 8 years ago in order to expand opportunities and get to know more about this amazing instrument, but I began teaching about 4 years ago. I teach beginners to advanced students, and incorporate basic music theory, note reading, and any other skills a student may require based on their skill level.

Music performance builds character, self confidence and a well rounded individual. My students are encouraged to take part in performances both at my recitals as well as school or part of a church or secular event.

About Ronald

Coming form a musical family, I cannot remember when music was not a part of my life. Both my parents were musicians, my father an instrumentalist and arranger and my mother a fine pianist. From the age of seven they encouraged and assisted my music education any way they could. Music came first

I am thrilled with Ronald. In my opinion, I definitely having the best and most experienced music teacher in the state of Colorado. He was in contact with me a few times before my first lesson, so I already was already comfortable with Ronald when he came to my door. Ronald has a lifetime of experience, and he seems to have never met a stranger. He is easy-going and knowledgeable. He put me at ease as he sat down to play and teach me about my organ for a couple of minutes before we got out the lesson book, and it was my turn. He teaches and repeats and encourages without hurrying to the next step. It was fun.
I'm excited about practicing and my future accomplishments with Ron's expert and encouraging ways of teaching.

Joi taught my 7 year old twins beginning piano for a year. Although my twins are identical, she delivered individual instruction that always challenged them at their learning frontier. They both were provided an amazing level of music foundation from rhythm to sight reading and more. Unfortunately, she moved and we moved but if she were close to us, she would still be teaching our girls. We loved the in-home instruction option. She is truly a gem. Very highly recommend.

"We have tried lessons with a few different instructors, and haven't been able to find the right mix of professional skill, likability, and ability to teach. Our daughter is on the path to becoming an advanced trombone player, and is already well above her peers at school. She's working on her collegiate audition materials and really needs an instructor who can get her to the next level. Jeremy has made a wonderful first impression, and we are confident that we've found the right instructor to get our daughter to where she wants to be in her music career."
