Music Theory is something that never ever changes. It is for us the same as it was for Beethoven 200 years ago. It is the structure of how music is built and constructed - or in reverse, how it is broken down, dismantled and understood. These lessons begin with the bare basics and work up from there. The tool best used for seeing, visioning and understanding music theory is the piano which will be our primary tool.
About Jerry
Dr. Jerry G. has performed as a professional musician, drummer and vocalist for almost 50 years. He has a background in classical music and has studied theory and numerous instruments and vocals. After playing hits in the 60’s, "Dr. J" performed as an organist doing 10 shows a week in '69 and '

My 6 year old is well... a 6 year old but Dr. J is so patient with her and has already taught her so many new skills in just a few short lessons. He keeps the lessons fun but is able to refocus her on her lessons. Dr. J is an overall amazing musician that is very skilled in a variety of musical techniques. He is also very professional and extremely reliable (even in inclement weather). I would recommend Dr. J to any family that is wanting their child to learn how to play music.

Book NowI have been playing the flute for nine years and the piccolo for two and have been in a variety of bands and orchestras. I find playing music to be incredibly peaceful and relaxing, as well as enjoyable, fun, and exciting! I would love to be able to pass on some of my knowledge to you so that we're able to have fun together! I do best with teaching beginners and intermediate-level students in a patient and goal-oriented environment. During our first lesson, we will evaluate how much you know already as well as talk about what kinds of things you would like to work on (pieces, technical concepts, theory, etc.).
About Emma
Hello! My name is Emma and I'm a Freshman at Montana Technological University studying Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. I aim to graduate with a Bachelor of Science alongside two minors–one in Materials Science and the other in Mathematics. I consider myself to be a very energetic, patient,

Organ has been a love of mine from young childhood. I was even saving my lunch money in elementary school to purchase my first organ. I have been fortunate to have some fine instructors both privately and at the college level. For many years I was the house organist at the Aladdin Theater playing for many special events on the 3 manual Wicks Theater Pipe Organ. When home organs were very popular I had daily classes of organ students both private and adult. Currently I am minister of music for the Presbyterian Church in Georgetown, Colorado along with my teaching and consulting.
About Ronald
Coming form a musical family, I cannot remember when music was not a part of my life. Both my parents were musicians, my father an instrumentalist and arranger and my mother a fine pianist. From the age of seven they encouraged and assisted my music education any way they could. Music came first

I've been teaching piano for 10 years. Within the first few lessons students will be able to read basic music notation and as time goes on they will be able to confidently play beginning songs of their own choosing. I typically use Alfred or Faber books which builds playing skills and teaches music theory.
About Rhonda
I have always had a love for music. From all the music trivia games my family won't play with me, to my large collection of records, cassettes, and CDs - I am hooked! I made my solo performance debut at age 7 by singing "It's A Small World" acapella in a school talent show. At age 9 I started

I trained as a high-level classical and flamenco guitarist for 12yrs, and then I completely bailed on Bach and got into Jim Croce and Chet Atkins, since then I do a lot of worship music at my church and played in a wedding band doing 47 weddings a year. I'm all around kind of guitar player, and my favorite thing to do is take a song off the radio, or a song you like, and help you figure out the best way to play it in your preferred style. If you want to learn rhythm guitar, fingerstyle guitar, classical guitar or bluegrass, I'm your guy! I'm pretty laid back so I don't mind going at your speed and being flexible on lesson plans and fitting things around how you want to do them.
About Joseph
My name is Joe and I've played guitar almost as long as I've been alive! From bluegrass bands, to soloing classical conciertos with orchestras, to cocktail hours in hotels I love it all. My goal is to help my students learn to play what fits them, and discover new things and styles they never knew

I have been playing guitar for about 25 years and teaching for about seven years now. I played in a punk/rock band in high school and have since studied classical and jazz guitar. Currently I write and perform songs in a folk/acoustic style.
I studied classical guitar at the University of Central Florida, performing solo and ensemble repertoire. I can teach proper technique with both hands, music notation, tablature, sight reading, harmonic theory, and how to realize "orchestral" compositions.
I can teach shredding lead guitar riffs or strumming rhythm (typically acoustic) guitar. Whatever genre or style you're into, and whatever skill level you find yourself - I can help you play the songs you love.
About Gio
I studied music at UCF (Orlando), focusing on classical and jazz guitar, but I also have years of experience playing rock, blues, folk, hip-hop, and musical theater on both guitar and drums. I have been teaching guitar, drums, and piano for about eight years to students of all ages. Music is wh
