We will work on whatever style the student will like to learn! If they are a beginner, we will go through all of the basics slowly and very thoroughly. I like to start by having my students get familiar with the piano and exploring all of the sounds it can make. Students will learn how to identify notes on the piano and also through reading music. Lessons will always be fun and engaging!

About Matt

I attended West Chester University from 2011-2015 and graduated with my bachleor's in music education. I performed in the marching band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, jazz ensembles, various trumpet ensembles, and a brass quintet. One of my trumpet ensembles made it to the semifinals in the Nationa

Hsiao-Lan is a truly great teacher. She embodies enthusiasm, positivity, discipline and most importantly patience. She has taught both of my young children piano, and even when the kids were down she brought them back up by the end of the lesson. We can't say enough great things about her!

Hsiao-Lan started teaching my 3 year old. She has incredible patience and shows the kids how much fun you can have while playing the piano. My daughter loved her and was always looking forward to her piano classes. I would highly recommend this teacher to anyone who is looking for their kids to have fun while they learn to play the piano. Unfortunately, we were not able to continue the classes but in a near future i would love for her to teach my daughter once again. Hsiao-Lan truly has a gift in teaching young children.

My experience with Kathy has been great. It's been roughly five months and I learned a lot and I'm also much more confident to sing. Learning the right techniques is crucial. Kathy is extremely patient and she adapts the classes to the student goals and aspirations. English is not my first language and she was also always very respectful and patient in explaining everything twice or maybe three times until I get it.

"I have had the good fortune of working with Ginni for two years. When I started with Ginni I was an adult beginner, and couldn't read music. What a difference two years makes!

Ginni is incredibly patient and positive. She recognizes even the smallest of gains and encourages me with her kind words. I could not be more blessed to have found such an excellent, supportive piano instructor.

Do not hesitate to sign up your child or yourself for lessons. You will never regret having the opportunity to work with such a wonderfully talented gentle instructor.

I have watched Ginni work with six year old to 61 year old (me) and she genuinely enjoys working with all! Ginni is a delightful person and a joy in my life! GINNI IS THE BEST!"

"Went over basics I knew with the first lesson, but now that he has, the basics I knew are now better instilled. I can look at any note and within a second find out which letter and octave it corresponds to on both piano and sheet music. After that he got me to use my hands faster and more accurately by practicing scales. As if his teaching methods weren't good enough, he also has a really flexible schedule. If you are unable to make a lesson, just give a 24 hour notice and he can shift the lessons down a week. The only nuance that I've experienced is that he asks me a few times to change my schedule. I can't complain, since it was a choice though, one that he asks if its ok and then goes forth with it. Much better than tutors for academic subjects I've had, and much better than my Guitar teacher in public school. 3 years of guitar case two weeks with piano, and I feel much comfortable on piano than on guitar already!"
