Hey everyone! I spend most of my time touring the world with A list pop artists as guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, but in my spare time I love passing along the gift of music via teaching. I've been playing guitar for half my life, and in addition to guitar I can also teach beginner bass, piano, drums and music production. I've taught all different kinds of students, ranging in age and ability. I tailor my lessons specifically for each students needs, and to match their personalities and interests. I am a Chicago-based guitarist and composer with a style rooted in the jazz tradition but flavored with other styles.I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in instrumental performance from Columbia College in Chicago where I studied jazz guitar and theory with Frank Dawson.

As a trained musician with a degree in music as well as a lot of professional playing experience, I offer a unique perspective to teaching guitar, both as a guitarist and a passionate educator.

I played in a few professional bands and wrote a lot of original music.
I also wrote score/soundtrack for two films.
