Music Performance from Florida Southern College
I've been teaching cello for 10 years and my students have gone on to participate in All-State orchestra, and play in professional orchestras. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to produce sound and play simple songs and as time goes on you'll be able to read music fluently and perform with ease. I specialize in Classical, and typically use Suzuki and Klengal scale books. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
I love music. I love it so much that I have made it my career. I have been playing the cello for over 20 years and have studied in universities since 2002. In that time, I have worked extensively with great artists such as, Rhonda Rider, Joel Krosnick, Andy Mark, Nicholas Tzavares, and Mark Steinbe
I had no experience with string instruments and feel I'm on my way to playing the cello competently. Byron keeps things fun and moving along at a good pace. He's especially good at diagnosing the cause of any difficulties I'm having.

BA, History from Yale University

I start from scratch with every student, and create a plan based on their goals, experience, and preferred music styles. No two students have the same lesson.
Additionally, because the jazz school I attended gave students very strong instruction in harmony and ear-training, I teach students not just how to read notes, but to understand what they're playing so they can be more creative and versatile. Moreover, I encourage students to feel comfortable making mistakes in a safe environment so they can step outside of their comfort zone.
I've been involved with music for nearly my whole life. I started out with Suzuki violin lessons and then switched to the piano when I was in the 2nd grade and have been performing, studying, composing, and teaching ever since. I graduated from Yale with a Bachelor's in History and afterward e

This category of singing is listed under my profile for singers who are unsure about the genre of music they wish to pursue, or who may want to pursue more than one at the same time. My studio focuses on operatic and classical voice, with some reach into musical theater. I also offer limited voice coaching in other genres like screamo and metal with focus on healthy voice production and safety.
I want to dispel the myth that only a select few are "gifted" with beautiful voices. Singing is like a sport; it is a skill requiring refined muscular coordination, which anyone can improve with practice and focused instruction. My teaching experience encompasses students of all ages and abili
She's so good at explaining the most confusing things about singing technique (which for a beginner is a lot). She's very patient and it's heartwarming when she gets excited about the times I do something right. I trust Kristen with my voice and I like how she encourages me to do hard but fun repertoire. Would definitely recommend!
P.S. Her voice is absolutely beautiful. You know you have a good teacher when she demonstrates something and you think, "I want to sound like that."

Bachelor of Music - Vocal Performance from California State University of Long Beach
Elaine L.Book Now
Hi there! I graduated from CSULB’s Bob Cole Conservatory with a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance, and I also has 10 years of piano study under my belt and have completed Certificate of Merit Level 7. Let me know your goals with piano and I can help you get there, whether you're an ADULT (trust me, it's NEVER too late to start. Don't listen to nay-sayers, they are just afraid), a TEEN (this is the time of your life when music can seize your heart so if you have favorite artists, let's play their songs after we solidify some piano basics), or a child (we can learn at your pace while having fun). Progress is built with consistent practice and familiarizing yourself with piano, even if you're just messing around on it during the week.
"Elaine graduated from CSULB’s Bob Cole Conservatory with a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance. She studied Bel Canto singing technique and now applies those techniques as the lead vocalist in a multi-genre band Experiment 6 (pop, jazz-pop, r&b, rock, disco). With her band, she performs at bars, resta

I was amazed at the quality of my long distance lessons on Skype.. I have only had two lessons so far, but feel like I have made a lot of progress. I get to choose the genre of music I want to pursue and don't have to leave my home to do so. I have so much to learn about technique, but I am confident that Molly will continue to guide me. She makes lessons fun and interesting."
I took lessons from Jeff on and off for about 15yrs. I started off on the bass and then tried learning some guitar. I really had a great time learning how to play the bass from Jeff, he makes it really fun and relevant to your needs. Some days, I really wanted to learn a song I heard on the radio or from a favorite band, and he was instantly able to teach it to me. Jeff is a great guy and really knows how to teach guitar. I would definitely recommend taking lessons from Jeff. He will go at your pace, and you will have a blast learning how to play the guitar!"
