See you next week!"
Beyond that, Drew is just a really great guy to learn from. His approach is disciplined but relaxed. I didn't feel like I was just running drills and learning a lot of unnecessary information. The lesson was geared to exactly what I needed and he didn't talk over my head.
I will definitely book more lessons with Drew."
In short, she is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; she sends out a list of possible time-slots available for you (or your child) promptly after you contact her and can help expand your knowledge and technique of singing/acting/speaking in just a matter of a few lessons. :)"

About Teri
Teri has taught voice for over 17 years to all ages and all levels, led and trained various bands and groups for over 20 years. Named as a Top Vocal Coach by Backstage Magazine 2015, she is a club hit recording artist and premier LA vocal coach. Her vocals have graced full length CD's, cuts on various records, performances on TV and radio, and gained her a nomination for Best Female Vocalist, All Access Music Awards. She is the author of Vocal Essentials for the Pop Singer: Take Your Singing from Good to Great, from Hal Leonard Publishing. Teri has a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology. She studied music at Blue Bear School of Music in San Francisco including music theory, vocal technique and vocal performance, guitar and stage performance. She had a dance club hit in the 90's which garnered success on mix shows and dance charts across the country.
She specializes in getting the best out of her students -- giving them a solid vocal technique to let their natural ability shine. Her students will attest to her positive, relaxed and encouraging teaching style.
In addition to learning the basics, Teri can help students get their voice in shape for events, school projects/plays, auditions (American Idol etc...), a solo or band project, and more!
Teri offers flexibility with scheduling to accommodate students various needs including day/eves and weekends. Studio is in a convenient Westside LA location.
*** Lesson Details ***
Students can expect a fun lesson with vocal warm-up exercises, and lots of singing, in a supportive environment. Teri works out of her home studio and online. so students can work with microphones and instruments.
Children
Voice lessons build confidence and enthusiasm, and help prepare children for performing in front of others. Singing at a young age develops vocal abilities, but more importantly develops a child's aural abilities (recognizing melodies, harmonies, etc.) as well as the ability to focus, take direction and be creative.
Performing / Recording / Vocal Health
Recording, performing and touring presents unique challenges to singers. By concentrating on breathing, vocal tone, vocal production and tension reduction, warm-up exercises, and range building exercises, these lessons help increase stamina, build vocal tone, and reduce the effects of vocal fatigue for those who sing long hours at a time.
Church / Worship Leading
Singing on praise/worship teams is an art form all of it's own. Lessons centered around this kind of singing focus on the areas of blending, tone, hearing harmonies, and keeping your part in a group. For the soloist / worship leader, lessons help in the areas of projection, tone, range, runs, and breathing.
*** Studio Equipment ***
I have recording equipment and microphones, piano, guitar.
*** Specialties ***
voice, voice lessons, voice singing lessons, voice coaching, vocal technique, voice training, speaking (speakers), auditions, broadway singing (pop technique only), music theory, musical theatre, singing, speaking acting voice, acting, theatrical singing, adults, all levels, audition prep, beginner to advanced, breathing technique, children's basics, pro vocal technique, rock pop styling, stamina based breathing, theatre singing, voice actors, voice over artists, using your body as an instrument, getting students to record quality, building vocal tone, and assisting students in finding their own voice.

About Nils
Maybe your goal is to simply learn to play your favorite songs or maybe you want to learn to write your own music, improvise, or perform live.
Like all good things in life, there are no shortcuts, and learning the guitar takes time and effort, but in return you get the ability to express yourself through music, which is one of the most rewarding skills anyone could ever learn, at any age and in any situation.
My main focus is on helping you reach the point where you are actually playing music, instead of endlessly going over exercises or theory.
I want you to be able to play music you would enjoy listening to, because this is when you will start to truly appreciate your accomplish
Together we will discuss your personalized course, based on your goals and situation, and along the way I will provide materials/tools and a summary or a recording of each lesson as needed, for you to take home to work on.
Different aspects we'll discuss are technique, chart/sight reading, music theory, ear training, soloing/improvisation, and developing a strong sense of rhythm, most of which will be done through simply learning to play the songs you like.
Besides the basics, it's very important to learn how to independently keep challenging yourself, learn from your mistakes and continue growing musically, simply using your ears and whatever information you can find online or anywhere else, even without my help.
Besides teaching you how to play I can also help with finding the right instrument and equipment, provide advice on guitar/amplifier maintenance and setups, as well as recording techniques, or any other practical matters related to playing music/guitar.
Lessons can be either at your residence or at my fully equipped home studio in the Hollywood Hills/Studio City area. In a beautiful and private environment, with plenty of (free/safe) street parking available.
Lessons via Skype are obviously available as well.
I look forward to hearing from you!

About Drew
Whether you are a beginning guitar student, a songwriter hoping to enhance their compositions, or a veteran player hoping to hone their skills, I can help you achieve your goals and become the musician you want to be.
If you have been wanting to start a band or simply play with friends, I can also teach you the fundamentals to playing in a group.
Music is fun; practice should not seem like a chore. I make it manageable for you by breaking down the techniques you need to learn into simple exercises that you can apply to the songs you want to learn.
My lessons are 100% customized to your needs and what you are interested in learning. Any genre, any style, any song.
-
Professionalism - I want to see YOU improve and learn to play confidently. I don't teach for a quick buck between gigs. I teach because it is something I am good at and it makes me excited to help people progress in music.
Passion - I am an active performer, session player, and writer. I teach because I am also passionate about educating my students, and it is something in which I am very skilled.
Adaptability - Each lesson is tailored to the needs and goals of that student. I can adapt to many different styles of learning and instruction. If you do not understand a particular skill, it is my duty to find an explanation that suits your learning style.
Efficiency - I am prepared for each lesson and will provide you with all the materials you need. I have access to professional level tablature and sheet music for thousands of songs, and I will have any handouts or notes ready for you before the lesson. Any notes that we go over in the lesson will be emailed to you by the day's end so that you don't have to waste valuable lesson time writing things down.
Manageable Practice - The quicker you improve, the more fun playing will be, the more you'll practice! I am highly trained and have gleaned the most useful methods from the hundreds of lessons I've taken in my life to help you improve as fast as possible. I will give you quick exercises and pieces of the songs you want to learn to help you progress without making practice seem like a chore.
24/7 Support - I am available by phone from 10 am to 10 pm Monday - Friday and 24 hours a day by email. If you do not understand a concept that we covered in our lesson, are unsure about how to practice a specific technique, or have any other questions pertaining to what we have gone over in our lessons, I am available to happily answer all your questions.

The key aspects that I believe make him an effective teacher:
1) he listens to what you want to accomplish, and works toward those goals
2) he has a list of very specific, bite-size skills and bits of knowledge that he can dole out. This ensures that you can keep learning without feeling overwhelemed
3) he knows music theory forwards and backwards, and can explain the complex concepts in intuitive ways
4) very flexible with lesson scheduling
5) he keeps notes on what you cover in each lesson, doesn't lose his place
6) he keeps you motivated without making you feel guilty for not practicing.
