I played violin for fourteen years and picked up bass six years ago. I love any song with a good bass line. I have trained many zero experience peers to play violin as well as bass. It's the same thing just mutated a bit hah. Whether you want the full music theory, along with reading notes, or just learn how to jam, I can make that happen!
In my bass career I have played many many shows and have been in a band featured on the radio. Anyone could reach that level with some good practice and a little bit of passion. I am super passionate about music. Particularly, I love funk bass, as in my opinion that is the genre that really shows off what a good bass can really do. I specialize in jazz, funk and blues. I can help with techniques for other styles as well as for instance metal is like classical musical in many ways and classical music is my where I began.
I will keep the process of turning you into a groove master exciting and educational. You won't even feel the pain ...

We will play whatever the student would like to learn! I use the Hal Leonard Bass Method with students to give them a solid understanding of the fundamentals of bass guitar playing. I encourage my students to always find new songs that they would like to learn so we can go over them together.

Aaron is a positive and inspiring instructor. He is very competent on the instrument (and I believe he is well versed in more than just bass guitar) and is a working musician. In my lessons he has attempted to guide me into territory I was unfamiliar with in a way that I can understand. Sometimes that has not been so easy, as with Modes, but he is willing to modify the lessons according to what I have wanted to learn and how easily I can absorb it. If there's something I'm not grasping, he tries to explain it in a different manner and with a little effort on my part, I can comprehend it. He definitely wants his students to learn and have fun, while also making it challenging."

I recommend Ian Stewart highly."
