My goal is to help you create a beautiful music by focusing on the foundations of tone, techniques, and practice. Beginners will learn to read music and develop good tone and rhythm. Intermediates will work on tone, vibrato, technique, and expression. At each lesson, I will show you what you need to do and give you the responsibility of practicing at home. You will also work on bowing/finger exercises, music activities, and improvisation so you can play along with any piece of music.

About Estela
Hello! My name is Estela, and I've been teaching private lessons since 2001. I enjoy helping students create beautiful music, develop good techniques, and play along with any song through improvisation. I have played violin for over 22 years including orchestras, string ensembles, church worship bands, and weddings and special occasions.

I have an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in violin from Louisiana State University and a master's degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin. I have also worked for 6 years as an ESL teacher and am very patient with new learners, immigrants/foreigners, and kids.

I introduce children and adults to the wonderful world of music through violin. I teach basic music theory and technique from the beginner lever to the intermediate level.

About Yvonne
We will work together to learn and understand the fundamentals of piano and violin technique and theory at you own pace. No pressure and stress-free instruction.

Along with learning to play an instrument, research shows that you may have improvements in memory, language skills, ability to store audio information, discipline, ability for being attentive and planning, day to day actions such as being alert, motor skills, hearing, emotional perception (pick out exactly what others are feeling just by the tone of their voices; empathy, disappointment, etc.)

Music has always been a part of my education since my elementary school years. I continued private training throughout college, as well as after. I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, as well as my Life Coaching certifi
cation from The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. And I am always continuing to develop my musical skills.

Our time together is more than just about learning an instrument; it's about life improvements and developing the self!

I will encourage you, cheer you on, and support you in the way you need support to achieve your goals in piano and violin!

*** Lesson Details ***
Our time together will be relaxed, laid back and casual. Student focused instruction.

We will work on the essentials of playing the piano - from correct posture to reading music!

After 3 months you will definitely have a good foundation in order to continue forward.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I would expect my students to have a piano/keyboard and/or a violin with bow

*** Specialties ***
My primary instrument is the piano, beginning to intermediate. I also teach beginner to intermediate violin using the Suzuki method books.

I utilize various methods for each instrument, which is determined by the students learning style and ability; needs, so this can change as time goes on (not sticking to one particular publishers materials). This is your time to shine, so be as detailed as possible!

About Cameron
As a violin and viola instructor, my goal is to give my students lessons that are as fun and productive as possible. I teach my students all the essential technical and musical principles which help them to play the violin expressively, prevent them from developing harmful habits and help them reach their full potential. I do not use an exact method or course, but rather teach each student according to his/her particular needs. I teach beginner through advanced level.

I have been privileged to study violin with some of the most respected violin teachers in the US. Many of my teachers were graduates of Juliard and other top music schools where they studied with some of the most famous violin teachers of the 20th century including Ivan Galamian and Josef Gingold. I have also studied with Texas String Teacher of the Year winner Henry Rub
in.

I teach violin from my house in north Houston and I can travel to your home as well (prices vary depending on location). I teach beginner through advanced. If you are interested you may call or text me.

Paul is an amazing teacher and mentor. Today we tackled harmonies while recording and it was so special to me. Paul is dedicated to his craft and his students. He prepares for each lesson, whether vocal or piano, and pushes me further along while reinforcing what we learned previously. He's just the perfect balance of strict and encouraging, always leaving me with a lesson that I had not anticipated and a whole lot of fun. I am an experienced violinist of seven years who has performed in multiple Orchestras, including the Klein High School Chamber which is the top high school performing orchestra in Texas. I also have experience teaching many violinists at the beginner level, and have a precise teaching method to effectively get the best results out of every student. Not only will you be playing songs in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of note reading, music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and more. Contact me for flexible payment and scheduling!

About Roman
***Introduction***

I am a violinist who has experience performing with Orchestras such as the Klein High School Chamber, and am a member of All-Region Orchestra. I also have years of experience teaching beginner violinists who are just starting out their musical journey. I believe that music is not only about reading notes and playing rhythms, but as well as having fun while doing so. This is why I make every lesson as fun as possible while still making sure students grasp the materials being taught.

*** Lesson Details ***
Each lesson will be taught in response to current needs of a student but the following are the parts that make up an entire lesson:
- Technique
- Theory
- Music
- Practice
All together are basic fundamentals.

My job as a teacher is to help you find a place for music in your daily life and to make a practi
ce time more of an experimental discovery play, than boring work. Once you find a key, it opens up a whole new world of communication.

As a private violin instructor, I believe that education is impossible without student’s motivation and passion. Perhaps you have decided to become a professional musician or maybe you want to play for your own enjoyment... Whatever your goals are, I can lead you there! Let's make it happen together because it is never late to follow a dream!
