More than technique, I will teach you how to connect with people. Music is the art of communication. Being able to reach someone's heart, to feel what they feel, and to play what they feel is far more powerful than being able to play 16th notes at 160 Beats Per Minute.

Having played Jazz Guitar for 15+ years, graduated with a Music (Classical Composition) double-major from MIT, and performed at restaurants & large events such as Super Bowl Live, I will teach you the fundamentals to play any type of music you desire. I specialize in music improvisation and will show you how to learn songs quickly by ear. Also, I will show you what it takes to deliver a great performance for your audience.

Ultimately, my focus is on serving you. That means helping you become who you want to be and helping you express your true self through music. Together, we'll figure out what works best for you and what learning style helps you grow the fastest. And we'll have a lot of fun along the way!

About Jabari

Trevor is the real deal! He takes the time to get to know you and listen to what your needs may be or what you desire to accomplish in the lessons.
Then he breaks it down and takes the speed you are comfortable in learning and does not overwhelm you. I feel very comfortable with him and I am tons more advanced then I could even imagine. I’ve only done 3 sessions so far and can’t wait to see my progress with 5 more lessons to go. Great guy on top of it:). I highly recommend Trevor to anyone.

I've been working with Trevor for just over a year. His teaching goes beyond just dry technique and theory to answer the question "why am I doing this?" When you work with Trevor, there is purpose behind everything you do. He starts with your big picture goals and breaks them down into actionable steps that you can take feeling like it's going somewhere. This makes for way more efficient and exciting practice sessions. If you don't know exactly where you want to go with your playing, Trevor will help you find that as well.

Hi All!

For those of you out there who are unsure about whether lessons are for you, or worried in general about singing in front of other people, I'm here to tell you that not only do I think you can do it, but I think you will end up surprising yourself and your loved ones with the talent that you have.

The goal for every lesson is to make sure you become comfortable with mistakes, comfortable working through the process, and proud of the results you get at the end. This is a lesson with no judgement and no expectations other than for you to be you and give it your best shot. There is no homework due at each lesson and I will always provide the most patient and supporting atmosphere possible.

About Jason

I teach an open throat, mixed voice method, and have over 10 years of experience in live musical performance settings; from church venues, to dive bars, to the House of Blues San Diego, and everywhere in between. Through it all I've learned how to practice, how to setup and balance instruments and

I wanted to do an updated review on my lessons with Jason so far. I am now a few months in to singing lessons ( starting from scratch), and still would highly recommend this instructor. Lessons are progressive, and catered directly to what my end goal is. I've learned about techniques and concepts that I've never heard of, since I'm a beginner, and they are explained in ways any one can learn to apply them. Jason uses the time allotted to really focus on your individual learning style and makes the most of every minute. The authenticity of his personality helps you feel comfortable to allow yourself to make mistakes so you can laugh and have fun while you grow.

I have been teaching guitar and music theory for over 20 years and have been successful in helping many people to understand how to make the guitar applicable in any musical situation.

I specialize in explaining exact details that are constantly glossed over in YouTube videos and in most instructional environments. I teach in a manner that instructs the student to become self-reliant, to eventually become their own teacher.

About Rio

Hi everyone, my name is Rio Wallace and am from Texas. I started guitar lessons in January of 1986. I quickly developed because of an insatiable drive to create chill-inducing music, initially inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Alex Lifeson and Eddie Van Halen. He makes himself available, and is gracious when circumstances prevents the lesson for that week. Given my busy schedule, I've had to stop the guitar lessons. However, I just saw that they may be able to be done online?...If that's the case, please contact me Jimmy. I'd love to re-start asap.

"Greg was an incredible guitar teacher for me, he consistently worked with me to make lessons that I would want to learn, and helped me find my own path in music. Often times teachers have a set curriculum and idea of how someone should progress through their learning, and I'm sure Greg did too but I was probably not the best student for that. I was so focused on wanting to be a song writer and also maybe not the most practiced student, but he'd work with me and come up with these lesson plans that revolved around learning new chords and progressions and then when we'd get to a point where I had a basic understanding of some of it we'd try writing a song with these new learned chords. It was very helpful and even if I wasn't making leaps and bounds of progress every week Greg helped me feel like I was. I can't thank him enough for the experience. I would recommend him to anybody that asked and if I still lived in Helena I'd definitely still go to Greg for lessons."
