I taught English as a second language for 26 years in Germany teaching in-company, at universities and giving private lessons. I have prepared people for the TOEFL, Cambridge Certificate Exams, IELTS as well as everyday life in-company. I have helped hundreds of people prepare presentations and how best to handle a question and answer session afterwards. Other topics I have given as day trainings are telephoning, socializing, customer service, meetings, applying for a job, and leading an interview. In feedback I have received, I am often described as being open and friendly so that people quickly feel comfortable with me. I determine what the student needs and address those needs using a variety of materials and approaches. I have also tutored young people and bring in games/activities to liven up the lesson and ensure that the subject matter was learned.
