With me you will be learning the basics of sewing: how to use a sewing machine. Together we will create many garments such as jogger pants, bomber jackets, flare skirts, pencil skirts, shorts etc. Whatever you want to make I'll be willing to teach. You'll be an expert in sewing in no time :)

Hi my name is Amelie and I have been teaching students of all ages how to sew since 2015! I’ve helped my students perfect their craft of sewing from square one. Which includes handsewing, sewing machine operation, pattern making and of course making clothes and accessories! Teaching is my passion! I worked as a fashion design and sewing teacher for 3 years at various middle schools in NYC before moving to New Jersey and making a career change in the Department of Education. I am very patient, reliable, prompt and can work with all age groups. I have also have my fingerprints done by DOE and DOH for both NYC and New Jersey(if I were to take on child students).

I had a great time with her, she's so nice ,patient and supportive. She makes me so confident and i like it ,with her i know I'm gonna reach my goal quickly.  Can't wait to go back again thanks Amelie.

I was  absolutely wonderful she was very patient she know how to guide me probably in making the correct stitches.  And she was very professional I enjoy my sewing session with her. 🤗❤️😊👍🏾👍🏾

This was only the first lesson but I found Amelie to be friendly, patient and knowledgeable.  As far as scheduling is concerned she was very flexible and accommodating.  Looking forward to more lessons with Amelie.
