I started making videos when I was 12 years old, using the classic Windows Movie Maker... I didn't make very many videos back then. Eventually, I got deeply into it around 2013 when I was in college using Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 Student Edition, starting with a tutorial on how to use DOSBox. But now almost 12 years from when I started, I've moved onto Vegas Pro 14, and make much better quality content as a result! I primarily teach in Vegas Pro 14 (13 will suffice for most things) and GIMP (Graphical Image Manipulation Program) as I don't have access to Photoshop for the time being. That being said, if you're unfamiliar, GIMP is for the most part just as viable and accessible as Photoshop is, with some minor changes in how to accomplish different tasks.
