English (ESL)

Beginner

I am bilingual. My first language is Vietnamese. I came to the United States when I was 10 years old. I know what it’s like to not know the language and the culture. I can relate to many students. My lessons are fun and unique because I was once an English as a Second Language Student. I am very patient and understanding, however I will hold all of my students accountable for their work. I want all to succeed and advance on.

I am so excited to have you as my student. My class will be very fun and interactive. I was an ESL student before and I remember what it was like. You have my utmost attention and I am here to help you advance onto the next stage of your life. You are not only here to learn from me but I want to learn from you as well. I enjoy exploring new cultures. You can always come to me for questions.

I have been attending Tracie’s class for awhile now. I am a lot more comfortable having a conversation with people. I go out more and definitely understand people around me more. I signed up for a few more classes and now my sister has just signed up as well. Thank you Tracie!

She opened her home to me for awhile now to teach me English. I have been improving everyday. Myself and my son are now in her class. Very good teacher.

My son has been struggling in school because his English isn’t great. He has been enrolled in ESL class in school but doesn’t get much help there. The class is too large so I seek help outside. That’s how I found Tracie. She is very very very patient. You can tell that she is very genuine. She takes her time with him. He seems to love her and we’re making great progress.
