Sewing

Beginner

I have over 4 decades of sewing experience and can teach your child, age 8 through 16, the basics of sewing to get them started on a lifelong adventure in creating their own unique hand sewn items.  We will start with a few hand sewing projects and then progress to using a sewing machine to create pillows, drawstring bags, fun pin cushions, journal covers and eventually clothing.  We will even venture into some creative textile art using a variety of mediums!  All equipment and supplies are provided, including the use of a sewing machine!

My name is Terry and I have been sewing since I first learned in school when I was about 14 years old.  I truly believe we are all creative in our own way.  Is sewing for you? Take a class and you may be surprised at just how creative you actually are!  By learning to sew, you'll discover a world of creative possibilities you didn't even know existed and have fun in the process!
