I developed a love for the visual arts early and into high school. My paintings won national awards, and I was awarded a scholarship to the San Francisco Art Institute and furthered my education at California College of Arts and Crafts. Portraits, figurative, landscape, and cityscape are what I paint when entering juried art shows, and still active while using various atmospheric painting techniques. I frequently utilize negative space to give the images to "breathe" and express a specific feeling or mood. I bring my God-given and award-winning professional painting skills along with my enthusiasm to each individual or watercolor workshop that I conduct in Omaha and the surrounding areas. Encouragement and support for each student characterize my teaching method.
