I love chess. I love teaching. So, naturally I love teaching chess. I believe you learn best by playing, rather than talking or even reading chess books, so during our lessons we will mostly play, but we will also solve chess puzzles, learn sneaky chess traps, and play games with fewer pieces to learn concepts. As you get better, we will learn openings, end game strategies, and powerful tools and concepts like forking, pinning, sacrificing for position, and how to see deeper into the game. My goal for each lesson is to make what you are learning fun so you will want to play in between lessons and want to come back for the next lesson!
