I grew up in the rural US loving other languages and cultures. After spending time in South America I eventually decided to get my TESOL certificate for teaching English. I spent the last school year in Mexico teaching English and American culture to Spanish speakers. The benefit of living in Mexico is that I was also able to learn some Spanish. This is helpful in identifying with students and knowing what they are experiencing as I am teaching. I am willing to teach students of varying ages and language abilities. I’m also able to cater to specific areas of language or culture based on the students preference. I prepare lessons that help you reach your specific goals as a language learner.
