Spanish with Sarah P.

I am a licensed Elementary and Secondary Spanish teacher who loves to help students see the fun in learning a new language. I've always believed that learning a new language opens so many new doors for an individual to walk through, in turn giving him or her the freedom to choose to take on more opportunities. I love to travel and have studied in Central and South America. The Latino culture inspires me. I truly believe I have a little Latina in my heart! I could eat chips and salsa for my job, and I love to tango (badly). I have been enveloped in the Latin America culture and use my experiences to teach all about it. I have taught students Spanish ages 8-22 thus far & use varied techniques for each age. Teaching needs to be individualized to the student; that is why I believe that one-on-one tutoring is a fantastic way to quickly obtain a language. I use music, art, speech, listening, and writing to teach the language. If the lesson isn't fun in some way, there is no use for it. Languages are meant to be experienced!
