I'm a professional fine art, portrait photographer and arts educator based in Winston-Salem, NC. I teach photography at WSSU and moved to the area from NYC, where I worked in professional advertising and fine art photography for the last 10 years. Prior to NYC, I was in London working in fashion and advertising photography. I have also worked in the non-profit sector in arts administration, specializing in education, programming and artist residencies.
I have a diverse background in all things photo and love teaching this absolutely invaluable skill.
If you are looking to learn the basics of photography, on either film or any digital camera, or mastering studio lighting, I can meet any student at any level and create lessons just for your needs. I can work with groups, couples, parents and children and teach all aspects of photography.
In addition to my professional experience, I have degrees in Photography and Art History from the City College of New York and Daytona State College.
When I'm not teaching I'm usually working on a photography project! I publish and exhibit my work regularly throughout the US and spend a lot time outdoors with my family!
