WyZant Tutoring

I work with my students to create lesson plans that will address their specific English language learning needs. I focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary skills. I meet with my students at their homes or in public places, and use a variety of reliable resources from academic textbooks and the Internet.

GainVille Learning & Training Center

I was a part-time ESL teacher at the language school, and taught beginner, intermediate, and advance English language learners. I created lesson plans using available teachers' editions of the Cambridge ESOL textbooks and reliable Internet resources. I shared progress reports with my supervisor on our students' overall progress, and discussed ways to improve student/teacher participation with the school administration and other staff members during weekly meetings.

I taught ESL to students of all ages and levels. I also edited my Indonesian colleagues' comments in periodic student progress reports prior to their distribution, as well as the school's quarterly newsletter and drafts of student plays written by other teachers. I performed these editorial duties because I was only one of two native English speakers on staff at the school.
