About Pascale T.

My name is Pascale. I am a native French speaker, born in Versailles. I graduated from the University of Paris with a Master’s degree in Education and now live in the United States, in Nevada. I have been teaching 20 years in a multi-faceted environment including one-on-one tuition, and in the classroom. I am capable of teaching at all levels from elementary school to university, using a palette of techniques leading to easy assimilation of the language by the student. I am eager to share with you my knowledge not only of French language but also French culture, society and way of life. I offer a variety of courses whether you’re starting from scratch, studying at school, brushing up on your conversational skills or practicing business French for the workplace. I can also create specialized courses for those who have professional goals. My lessons focus on the four aspects of language learning for everyday life: Listening and speaking, reading and writing. I started to teach in France in elementary schools. When I moved in United States, I worked as a French substitute teacher in high schools. In order to enrich my professional experience, I taught at college-level and worked for foreign language institutions providing immersion programs to children, and adults. Concurrently, I have been tutoring High School students, in collaboration with their teachers, to help them improve their skills, grades and self-confidence in the language.

Pascale was wonderful. She was very patient and kind and encouraging. She uses a "whiteboard" to write words, tenses, and conjugation which I find very helpful. Her online resources were excellent. I hope to continue taking lessons on a weekly basis with Pascale.

Pascale is wonderful. She is very patient and explains thoroughly. I have had two lessons and it has been so great I hope to study with her once a week long term. Pascale gave me great on line resources to improve my vocabulary and during our 2nd lesson we watched several videos together and discussed them as well as it was a great opportunity to improve my listening/comprehending skills. I love that she is a native speaker and I hope my pronunciation will be more authentic working with her.
